The Ambiente Trade Fair opens its doors to visitors this weekend in Frankfurt am Main. For the first time, you will find us in the newly built Hall 12.0, Stand C 09. At this year’s Ambiente, the most important trade fair in the consumer goods industry, we will unveil a completely new product line from TFA:
GlasWerk drinking straws made of glass – The alternative to plastic drinking straws
We only use high-quality SCHOTT® glass from Germany for its production. The straws are produced directly at the TFA factory in Wertheim.
Many drinks and food are served with a straw. They are an integral part of the drinking experience. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a cocktail at your favourite bar, a refreshing juice spritzer or a delicious milkshake at the ice cream parlour. The so-called plastic ban is a measure taken by the European Parliament to curb the increasing pollution of the seas.
Does it mean that have we have to do without drinking straws? No, because GlasWerk drinking straws are the solution. Since glass is completely tasteless and hygienic, a pure drinking experience is guaranteed.

TFA Dostmann – always at the forefront of innovation
Punctual and timely are adjectives we use when it comes to adding appointments to our diary and adhering to schedules. Watching the clock is certainly one of the most frequent things most of us do during the day.
So that you actually enjoy looking at the clock, we recommend this timepiece with a stunning design: The wall clock CONTOUR has been developed exclusively for TFA Dostmann by the German designer Mosru Mohiuddin.
The two-layered, slightly curved dial with cut-out numerals and hour markers creates a spatial depth effect. This impression is intensified effectively by the colour contrast between the white and the coloured layer.
Our design team has also created two exceptionally beautiful wall clocks for children:
The LITTLE MONSTERS and LITTLE ANIMALS wall clocks make reading the time a delight, even for the little ones. The lovingly drawn motifs illustrate the dials. The soft, pleasing colours were especially chosen so that they can match any nursery décor.
We will be presenting the two new wall clocks to all visitors at Ambiente. The clocks are expected to be available from July 2019.
