Mobile climate and home monitoring with the smartphone

Connectivity today knows no boundaries. Smart home technologies that monitor and control our home are available for nearly all appliances and systems in our living spaces.

Sensors and transmitters allow us to wirelessly have a clear view of what’s happening in our home, control the heating system or the blinds, open windows or water the garden.

A fully automated house is not for everyone, but it makes us feel good to know that everything goes well at home, even when we’re on holiday or in the office.

Weatherhub Smart Home System

With the WeatherHub SmartHome System you can easily monitor the weather, control the temperature and other conditions around your house and garden and, what’s more important, you can address it if necessary – remotely.

Feeling good at home

Is the air in the children’s room overly dry? Is the first frost on its way and the plants need to go inside the house? Is the freezer door shut properly? Do the fish in the aquarium have the correct water temperature? Did it rain enough or does the garden have to be watered? Are all windows and doors closed?

WeatherHub for a good feeling

With the WeatherHub SmartHome system you can retrieve this information at any time. No matter where you are.

This is how the WeatherHub SmartHome system works

Special transmitters can be easily installed where you want to measure the climate data: on the terrace, in storage rooms, in the greenhouse, child’s room, aquarium or wine cellar.

The individual transmitters send out their data via radio through a gateway module and the Internet directly to a server. There you can access all information from your house via your smartphone worldwide.

The intuitive and easy to use WeatherHub app can set alarm values and trigger push messages in the event of an alarm. The data is stored for at least 90 days and can also be retrieved from different smartphones models.

Pro + Funktion

Pro + feature

Some transmitters have additional PRO features, such as an 18-months history, graphical interpretation of the various values, Max.-Min. function or export function.

Up to 50 sensors can be connected

You can choose from a combination of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity transmitters, sensors with a waterproof temperature probe for the aquarium (fish tank), pool, pond and freezer, a rain gauge, a wind meter (anemometer), a water detector – to warn of water leakage, such as a due to a faulty washing machine or in case of flooding, and contact sensors for monitoring windows and doors. Even some standalone weather stations and other devices are now compatible with the WeatherHub system. This allows you to query the measured values via smartphone and to use additional app functions.

Up to 50 sensors and transmitters can be connected to the gateway unit, so that the system can be used for many applications and also for larger buildings. The WeatherHub app is available for both Android and iOS devices.

Begin with a WeatherHub Starter-Set

The basis for your SmartHome system is the Starter-Set. It includes the WeatherHub Gateway with a power adapter plug and a LAN cable. Depending on the application, different transmitters are combined.
