With the SCANTEMP 450 infrared thermometer, you can quickly and easily measure the temperature of surfaces without touching them. This professional device has a wide temperature measuring range from -60°C to +500°C. In addition, a type-K thermocouple sensor can be connected.
Just aim the thermometer at the object to be measured, press the button and you get the result in a matter of seconds. The innovative, circular laser sight marks the actual measuring spot exactly and makes it easier for you to identify your target. The current temperature and the measured maximum and minimum values are shown on the illuminated display.
This measurement method is ideal for measuring the surface temperature of hard-to-reach, live and moving parts in the field of electrical and mechanical maintenance, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and automotive diagnostics. IR measuring devices are also popular in the food industry because they do not damage the produce. This device is HACCP compliant.
Contact-free measurement – made possible by the proven infrared technology. The infrared radiation emitted by any object with a temperature above absolute zero is converted into an electrical signal, evaluated by a processor and then shown on the display.
