With this thermo-hygrometer from TFA, you can always keep an eye on the room temperature and humidity and check the climate in your living and working spaces.
The aim is to create a cosy atmosphere. According to studies, most people feel most comfortable in rooms with 20 to 23 °C and 40 to 60 % humidity. The kitchen can be a tick cooler at 18 °C, while 16 to 18 °C is sufficient in the bedroom. But be careful: your own temperature perception is often deceived by various factors and humidity is difficult to sense anyway. With the handy thermo-hygrometer, you can see the current quality of your indoor climate at a glance thanks to the comfort zone display. If the smiley displays a happy face, room climate is in the green zone. If its mood drops and it pulls the corners of its mouth downwards, this is your warning signal to take countermeasures by actively heating and ventilating. This not only saves you heating costs, but also allows you to detect the risk of mould at an early stage if the humidity is too high.
With a size of 46 x 43 mm, the compact device takes up hardly any space and, thanks to its weight of just 25 grams, can be easily attached to many surfaces using its adhesive pad. Alternatively, you can use the stand supplied to set it up – preferably in the centre of the room, as a location directly by the window or near a heater could distort the values. The thermo-hygrometer is powered by a CR2032 battery (included).
