The arc lighter from TFA works with an electrically generated arc and it can be charged easily and economically using a micro USB cable – on a laptop, a PC or a power bank – just like your smartphone. An LED indicator light shows when the battery is empty and after 1.5 – 2 hours of charging it is ready to use again. The right charging cable is included.
The practical device has even more advantages compared to conventional lighters: Since it does not generate an open flame, it ignites like a storm lighter in windy and other weather conditions and offers more safety. The arc builds up between the electrodes. by pressing the button.
A protective cover prevents unwanted ignition. The arc is automatically interrupted as soon as you release the button – and after 10 seconds at latest.
