Product specification

When temperatures rise, it is not just the measured room temperature that determines how warm it actually feels. The HEATCHECK digital thermo-hygrometer combines temperature and humidity readings, helping you to better assess the heat stress indoors.

Older people, pregnant women, young children, babies and those with chronic illnesses or who are overweight particularly need to protect themselves from the heat.
The clear display shows the current indoor temperature and relative humidity. It stores the highest and lowest values reached and you can retrieve these. In addition, this device calculates the heat index, i.e., the perceived temperature, taking humidity into account. A warning symbol and colour scale help you to quickly interpret the calculated value.

The warning symbol appears and the colour indicator turns bright orange if the heat index value reaches 32°C. If this value climbs above 39°C, the warning symbol begins to flash slowly and the arrow moves further towards orange. If there is a heat index value of 50°C, the flashing speed increases and red is displayed.
This allows you to recognise at an early stage when your indoor climate may become uncomfortable and you can take action, if necessary, for example by ensuring adequate fluid intake, cooling your rooms, ensuring air circulation and wearing looser clothing.

Thanks to its integrated, fold-out stand, the HEATCHECK can be placed on a flat surface or, alternatively, mounted on the wall.
It is powered by two 1.5 V AAA batteries, which are not included.
