In addition to pure temperature and humidity measurement with maximum and minimum values, this device also offers other functions and setting options.

Its internal memory records the past values for humidity over 12 hours and documents this course with a bar chart. You can interpret the values very easily via the coloured comfort levels. Green in the middle indicates good air. Red tones warn of increasingly dry air, blue tones of too much humidity. A dashed line indicates the limit above which mould growth can increasingly be expected. If this limit is exceeded for longer periods of time, there is a risk of mould.

An adjustable humidity alarm and the dew point calculation are helpful here. Because when the temperature drops below the dew point, the air begins to condense and water droplets form in colder places – the preliminary stage of mould.
