TFA.me: Questions to the Portal

This depends on your device or transmitter type. For most devices, the guaranteed retention time on the server is 12 months. There are also stations with longer storage time. For example, the guaranteed retention time of transmitters ID-A2, ID-A4 and ID-A6 is 36 months. No data is deleted from the ID-A1 rain transmitter, for example.

If you have created a user account and added your devices, you will find the “Export” button for the respective device on the device details page. You can download the data manually in different ways (as a chart, history, alarm events) using the download symbol or you can also set an automatic export. When you export automatically, the corresponding files will be sent to you by e-mail after the set time interval.

To do this, go to the “Account settings” in the top right-hand corner of the account menu. Find the “Delete account” button.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Please note that the measured values that can be displayed and monitored within the go.TFA.me portal are the previously and currently measured readings from your devices. It is not yet possible to have an additional display of forecast weather data within the go.TFA.me portal.

It is not a problem to temporarily or permanently set another location to access the weather forecast for another location. However, please note that the time on the base unit is always displayed according to the local location setting /time zone.

This is not a problem. The recording of all data records is done internally anyway using UTC time (universal time coordinated / coordinated world time). Therefore, the location and time zone setting of a base unit is not relevant for transmitting and recording local data. You can specify which time zone settings should be used to display your data within the go.TFA.me portal in the “Account settings”.

Yes, it is not a problem to use a transmitter or base unit with different user accounts. But please note that settings (time-frame setting, alarm limits or automatic export e-mails) are always linked to a user account.

Yes, this is possible. To do this, you must tick the “Advanced Mail Settings” box in the “Advanced functions” option under “Account settings”.
