Product specification

"'Jetzt ist es neun Uhr achtundzwanzig“! [‘It’s now 9.28 am!’] Ingenious as an everyday aid for blind or visually impaired people – the TFA TALK 2 alarm clock talks to you in German!

Depending on the setting, it clearly announces the current time to you every hour or at the touch of a button. The volume can be adjusted in two levels.

Its unusual design is precisely tailored to the needs of people with impaired vision. You don't have to spend a long time searching for the query button – the entire alarm clock is a single, large button. Simply press the alarm clock and the voice with the time will sound. If you press the button twice in succession, it also states the current day of the week and date: Heute ist Donnerstag, der sechste Februar [‘Today is Thursday, the sixth of February’].

All settings are made on the base of the alarm clock. Its small display, which also shows the time, day of the week, date and alarm time, helps with this. The menu is voice activated. If the alarm clock is activated or reset, each step is announced. This makes it easy to operate. The control buttons on the base prevent the time from being adjusted accidentally. Three rubber pads ensure that the alarm clock stands securely on your bedside table.

The advantage of TALK 2:
The current time and date are received via the DCF 77 radio signal. Day after day, this alarm clock sets itself to the exact minute and hour and wakes you up on time. Switching to summer time and winter time is also fully automatic.
And if you don't want to get up straight away, you can activate the snooze function with the large operating button and get a few extra minutes of sleep.

This talking radio-controlled alarm clock requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.
