Product specification

What time is it and what day of the week is it today? The talking radio-controlled alarm clock with time announcement from TFA Dostmann clearly plays back important time information in German. This makes it particularly suitable for people who find it difficult to read a display.
As well as helping blind and visually impaired people, this alarm clock can also support older people and those with dementia in their daily lives. Its voice output may be a helpful complement for keeping track of time throughout the day.

Simply press the large, easy-to-grip request button on the top and the current time will be announced. If pressed twice, the alarm clock also states the day of the week and the date. If desired, you can activate an automatic hourly time announcement. The volume of the voice output can be adjusted in two levels.

The settings are also supported by voice announcements. This makes it easier to set up this radio-controlled alarm clock, which can be done together with relatives or carers if required. The display shows the time, date, day of the week and alarm time, providing sighted users with an additional visual overview. A backlight can be switched on for a few seconds if required.
As a DCF radio-controlled clock, this device automatically receives the time, date and day of the week via the radio signal. It also switches independently between summer and winter time.
If there is no radio reception at your setup location, you can set the time and date manually.
At the set wake-up time, the alarm time is announced and an alarm tone sounds. The snooze function pauses the alarm for five minutes at a time and can be activated up to eight times. Two rubber pads ensure the clock does not slip.

Power is supplied by two 1.5 V AA batteries, which are not included
