Learning to tell the time made easy. Learning to read the clock has never been so much fun as with our TICK & TACK children's clock set. The set is made of a wall clock and a matching toy learning clock.
The elaborated and lovingly designed wall clock takes will surprise you with its many special details. The toy learning clock is ideal for practicing to tell the time and the time can be set with the movable hands made of cardboard and be tested afterwards.
In addition to learning to tell the time, the toy clock also promotes the child's fine motor skills.

The dials of the learning clock and the wall clock are completely identical. This make it easier for the child to recognise on the “real” clock what they have learned on the toy clock and to tell the time.
Numerous markings help to teach the time, e.g. distinguish hours and minutes and use the terms such as "quarter" and "half" correctly.

The minutes are marked with dots in the outer ring and numbered in five steps. The hours from 1 to 12 am are printed in the middle ring and from 1 to midnight in the inner ring. The quarterly intervals (quarter past, half, quarter to and full hour) are displayed in symbols of small circles.

The bright colours not only keep the child motivated when learning but will also look great in any child's room. Since young clock readers must master numbers well, we recommend start learning to tell the time from the age of 5 to 6 years old. Children should be able to read the clock by the second grade at the latest.
